On Sunday 1st May, I arrived in Paris for a whole month, launching the start of the Champagne Campaign which continues again in August. It’s the start of a very special journey for me.
Most ask if this journey is for pleasure or business. Does it really always have to be the one or the other? I’m fortunate to say Les Deux!
I am filled to the brim (okay, overflowing if I’m honest) with excitement at the idea of immersing myself in French culture and taking FAB Quotient global, but also at living out a pre-40 bucket list dream! #listitliveit
The #ChampagneCampaign was born three years ago in a life changing workshop I attended: my first Wealth Chef Financial Freedom University weekend workshop, when the founder, Anne Wilson shared her story of living in Paris for two years and building her online business. Hey, I’ve always wanted to live in France. And build an online business!
So I wrote down my commitment in my Wealth Chef manual as the workshop wrapped up.
And then, wow, boy, did the magic start!
One little nudge and one ‘miracle’ after another appeared. There’s something extremely powerful about setting intentions aligned to inner joy and then taking small actions to spark the fire.
Another spark started with a joy board. Then another a year later, two joy boards, one year apart. Hundreds of magazines. Thousands of images. Yet I managed to find the same French-looking model posing in front of the Eiffel Tower. Coincidence? Maybe. But I think, unlikely.
Next, a courageous conversation expressing my desire and the unconditional support of my FAB business partner made us find ways to take FAB Quotient global, starting in Paris.
Why post about this? Because so many of us feel stressed, tired and not ourselves. And the idea of writing, never mind actually fulfilling, lifelong dreams may seem insurmountable. I’d like to nudge you … It starts with being still and realising what your inner desires are. Then a commitment. Some action (with a lot of rest and making space for God’s grace). And then watch the plant grow as the miracle unfolds.
“Life’s splendour forever lies in wait about each one of us in all its fullness, but veiled from view, deep down, invisible, far off. It is there, though, not hostile, not reluctant, not deaf. If you summon it by the right word, by its right name. It will come.” – Franz Kafka
